Welcome to Horley Infant School

We wish you a warm welcome with this first taste of life at Horley Infant School.  As you will see, we are committed to children achieving their potential and believe this is gained through outstanding teaching, high expectations of behaviour and an environment where they feel happy, safe, valued and respected.

Horley Infant School is well respected throughout the local community.  It is known for its happy atmosphere and stimulating curriculum, promoting the desire to question and investigate.

The partnership between parents, carers and school is vital during these early years of education and this relationship is nurtured through many school activities.  In support of the changing needs of families we have established an Extended School with a:

·         Breakfast Club – 7.30 – 8.50am – Sunrise Club

·         After School Club – 3 – 6pm – Sunset Club

Many other clubs are available too; these include art, cooking, bookworm, gardening, Lego and construction, dance, football training with Chelsea Football Club, sewing, board games, and gymnastics with Ellastics, which run from 3 – 4pm.

Children 2½ - 4 years old are welcomed to our on-site Bobtails Pre-School which runs morning and afternoon sessions.

This website aims to keep you up to date with school life; please visit regularly for news and photos of activities and events.  You can also access newsletters, year group plans, pupil administrative forms, minutes of Full Governors’ and Friends’ meetings.

We thank you for visiting out website.  However, the best way to experience Horley Infant School is to make a visit.  So please contact us on 01293 782263 to arrange an appointment.
